About Me
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Chicago, IL where I have worked with young and older adults who struggle with mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders, and addictions. I conduct individual and couple therapy from a systemic, holistic, and collaborative approach. I strive to incorporate evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, MI, and EMDR, into my therapeutic approach with the professional goal to continue exploring new EBPs throughout my career. I also have a special passion for victims of violence after working with women in domestic violence shelters and strongly believe in trauma-informed care for all clients. I completed my RYT and incorporate trauma-informed movement with my patients to promote healing from a bottom-up approach. I also teach undergraduate courses and am a doctorate student at Roosevelt University.
